Dahlia Tuber Policies.
TUBER GUARANTEE: Thank you for supporting my small farm! Your happiness is important to me! I guarantee your dahlia tubers will be true to ID and arrive in the mail with at least one eye, and a healthy tuber body. Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us at lish@lishsflowerstand.com within 5 days of your order arriving if you have any concerns. Once the 5 days have passed, you accept full responsibility for your tubers. Please understand we are not responsible for damage due to bad weather, pests, rot, poor field conditions, negligence, or plant performance.
MISLABELS: I take accurate labeling extremely seriously here at Lish’s Flower Stand, but sometimes a mislabel slips through. If your dahlia blooms and it’s not the variety you ordered, please contact us with photos, a copy of your order and we will do our best to resolve the mistake!
VIRUS POLICIES: I aggressively cull my field of any suspicious plants during the growing season. That being said, by purchasing you accept the fact that dahlias sometimes get sick, just like any other plant, and virus is not 100% avoidable. According to the Dahlia Society approximately 86% of dahlias will have some sort of virus, symptomatic or not. Given that no one grows in a sterile environment, and virus can be spread easily by insects, I do not refund for virus.
DAHLIA TUBER SHIPPING FOR 2025:
All orders are shipped using USPS flat rate priority mail.
I only ship within the USA.
Tubers are shipped in April, depending on when my weather and yours allows.
Shipping fee is a flat rate of $17 per order, no matter how few or how many are ordered.
Farm Stand Pickup: If you selected tuber pickup at checkout pickup will start in April as soon as the weather starts to cooperate. Please be on the lookout for an email from me on when to pickup.
CART: Your order is only confirmed once you checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email.
SUBSTITUTIONS: I do everything in my power to ensure that my dahlia tubers make it through storage and that I have enough to cover what is sold in order to not disappoint. However, sometimes things happen and that results in crop loss. If that happens I will not substitute without contacting you first. If substitution is not a viable option, I will refund you.
CANCELLATIONS: Once an order is placed it is final. We do not accept cancellations or changes to an order after it is placed. However, because I am a farm that is selling a perishable product, I reserve the right, at my own discretion, to cancel and fully refund any order, during our quality checks as we ship out our products.
